Select Availability Options window

Purpose

Use this window to add instructor availability. An instructor must have availability in order to be selected for a class on the Maintain Class window.

To access this window

Select one or more time slots on the Add/Change Instructors window - Availability tab, then right-click and select any of the following.

Item	Description
Options for availability Normal Availability Exception Availability Unavailability	Select the type of availability you want to add for the instructor. One of these options is automatically selected, depending on how you accessed this window. You may select a different option as needed.
Location	Select the location at which you want to add availability for this instructor.
End Date	Enter the date when this availability expires. This date automatically defaults to the last day of the current calendar year. Once the date passes you will need to re-establish availability for this instructor. To quickly enter today's date, press T on your keyboard. To quickly back-date or forward-date by one day, use the Hyphen key (-) and Equal key (=) on your keyboard (alternatively, use the Minus Sign and Plus Sign keys on your keyboard number pad). To quickly back-date or forward-date by one month, use the Page Up and Page Down keys on your keyboard. This box supports F6 functionality; the Choose Date window opens.
